Greetings ACS Community,

After much discussion due to the weather forecast for tomorrow, the ACS Administration, School Board and AFT leadership have agreed that Anderson Community Schools will observe Dr. Martin Luther King Day on Monday regardless of any weather events tomorrow.

This decision is based on multiple factors but we believe it is the best decision for our district at this time.

Thus, ACS will NOT be in session on Monday, January 15, 2018 in observance of MLK Day.

Further guidance to families will be issued IF a snow day is necessary.
