The Heart of United Way, thanks to a Community Impact Grant received from the Madison County Community Foundation, is bringing their Read United program to Anderson Community Schools for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Read United program pairs volunteers with 3rd grade students who aren't reading at grade level. Together, they read, talk, and write about books.
Volunteers devote one hour once per week to read with two students (30 minutes each).
